Dr. Rob

Dr. Rob

Veterinarian

Dr. Rob (he/him) graduated from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania and was internship trained in surgery, medicine, and business management.

Dr. Rob’s dream was to bring comprehensive, affordable, and compassionate veterinary care to the comfort of the pet’s home or office. Proietto Vets provide an amazing in-home veterinary experience for the pet and the pet parent right here in NYC. Thank you for your continued support and trust in our service.

Dr. Rachel

Dr. Rachel

Veterinarian

Dr. Rachel, DVM graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine and completed her internship at the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals here in New York City. Her full-time job is at the Animal Care Centers of NYC and has been with Proietto Veterinary Services since 2017. Rachel absolutely loves her clients and looks forward to many years of dedication to your furry family members. Rachel has 2 dogs and a cat that rules over the apartment. She loves rock climbing, theatre, and hiking.
Dr. Sasha

Dr. Sasha

Veterinarian

Dr. Sasha (she/her) has been working with Proietto Veterinary Services since 2021. She graduated from the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, and her full-time job is at Animal Care Centers of New York City. Dr. Sasha appreciates the opportunity to build lasting relationships with her PVS clients and provide fantastic veterinary care in every pet’s best environment – their home! Dr. Sasha is Fear Free certified, and believes a slow approach is the best way to build trust with your pet. In her spare time, Dr. Sasha enjoys hanging out with her spouse, two children, and their dog. If there’s any time left over after that, she also loves biking, hiking, and sewing.

Dr. Stephanie

Dr. Stephanie

Veterinarian

Dr. Stephanie (she/her) graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed an internship year at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC. Trained as an emergency doctor, Dr. Stephanie also has special interests in shelter medicine and acupuncture, hospice, and end-of-life care. She is also Fear Free certified and looks forward to the less stressful setting of in-home care and getting to know her clients and patients. Dr. Stephanie lives in Brooklyn with her partner Colin along with their cockatiel, two dogs, and a revolving door of foster pets including guinea pigs, kittens, and dogs. Her hobbies include reading, DIY home improvement, and traveling.

Dr. Diana

Dr. Diana

Veterinarian

Dr. Diana (she/her) is a Queens native and has been in the veterinary field for over 20 years. After graduating from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed an internship at the Center for Specialized Veterinary Care (now VCA Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center of Westbury) and currently works in New York City and on Long Island. She is an enthusiastic advocate of reducing the stress of pets by caring for them in their own homes.

In her spare time, Dr. Diana enjoys taking advantage of all the live music and great food NYC has to offer and spending time with her human and non-human family and friends. During baseball season she can also be found torturing herself by cheering on the Mets at Citi Field.

Mickey

Mickey

Veterinary Assistant

Mickey (they/them) moved from sunny Los Angeles to Brooklyn in 2017 and has been working in the veterinary field over the last five years. She currently works full-time as a technician at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) in Brooklyn. Mickey loves having the chance to see and treat patients in the comfort of their own homes. They are currently parenting two wonderful rescue pets, a gorgeous black cat named Ryan and a handsome senior pigeon named Boomer. Mickey has special interests in wildlife rehabilitation and animal rescue.

Alaina

Alaina

Veterinary Assistant

Alaina (she/her) started her journey as a vet assistant at a small animal clinic while attending Virginia Commonwealth University. Throughout her career, she has worked at a boarding home for dogs, animal clinics, and the NYC ACC, where she met Dr. Rachel. Along with working in shelters and clinics, she also loves fostering animals that need some extra attention! In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, spoiling her two cats, and exploring NYC.

We provide in-home veterinary care to the pets of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.
